Both online storefront 
and back-end system were custom designed from the start to the finish. Gold-N-Time.com is specialized in selling and repairing vintage watches and clocks. Gold-N-Time's old website was using e-commerce shopping cart software package. We built a completely new website with custom shopping cart and back-end system to manage inventory with ease. Pre-made shopping cart programs or ecommerce shopping cart software may not provide you with the flexibility or features that you want or need. With custom shopping cart system you will have all the features that you want and none that you don't want.
Granitetop LLC. Having a website is beneficial for small businesses with only a few employees. For example, we developed the following
website for Granitetop LLC.
It has only three employees and most time of the day, they are occupied with their manufacturing work, in a back room. If someone calls to place an order, there is no one to answer their phone. So we developed a
dynamic webpage that allows the customer to fill out a schedule request, or submit a comment or ask a question through a form. This page gives the customers the opportunity to place an order at anytime.
La Liga is a non-profit organization which offers services to the Spanish community. Its website is
published in both English and Spanish .
This organization is located in Syracuse, New York, and provides many different kinds of services to the Spanish community in Onondaga County. Ironically, they like to change their website each year. It is a good idea to maintain a consistent online image. If you change your web site look and layout too often, your viewers will not be happy. Besides, you may lose your potential customers.
MONGOLMEDEE.INFO is also a community website. It publishes
useful information about shopping, financial services,
technological services, and other kinds of services for the Mongolian community. Click
here to take a look. A design decision is very important when it comes time to choose which technologies to use. At Cyberland LLC, we prefer to produce fast-loading simple text HTML pages. Specifically, this is important for the non-profit community websites, because people do not search such a website for entertainment. They are usually looking for helpful information pertaining to their jobs or interests. Therefore, the design should be focused on the content which should be easily searchable and accessible.
Flash example.
It is impressive to have an animated website that looks and acts like a movie.
However, having a website completely done with
Flash
has some disadvantages. These types of websites download more slowly than HTML-based websites, especially on a dial-up connection. Many Internet users still have slower connections. You need to consider this factor when making a choice about what type of website you want, and who your audience and viewers will be.
